Toronto has become so well known for its cultural diversity that it has been branded as ‘the city of neighborhoods’ because of its consistent energy and strength within the metropolis. Having more than 240 distinct neighborhoods which each have their own characteristics, some with Italian splashes of culture and others with Greek, Toronto has become a very attractive places for people who are looking to invest in real estate property. The festivals attractive over 100,000 people who come to see all the markets, booths, restaurants, shops and more during the festivals.

There has been a great deal of development and improvement in Greek town over the years. For example:

The North Americans Premier Greek festival is also held which shines the light on the town’s wonderfully diverse range of restaurants, rich selection of wines and traditional cooking and live entertainment. Greek Town has also become renowned for many famous retailers who have specialist items such as bridal wear and jewellery to modern fashion trends and special occasion wear.

Little Italy, also known as College Street West, has become a very popular place in Toronto for several Italian restaurants and companies. You will also find many residents who are from Latin American and Portugal residing in the cosmopolitan. Little Italy is centered on the famous College street which features a long row of restaurants, bars and shops and is opposite a residential area that spreads across to Ossington Avenue.

Demographically, the Portuguese residents are more common than the Italian but the atmosphere and culture is still has very strong Italian roots The neighborhoods’ are full of  trattorias, restaurants, nightclubs, cafés and much more making it a buzzing scene in Toronto. With tourists and locals drinking espressos on the sidewalks, the ambience is very friendly and relaxed.

Rosedale is one of Ontario’s most prestigious and affluent neighbourhoods and is the oldest suburb in Toronto so presents the visitor with vast amounts of cultural history. Houses in this area are mainly dethatched estates and the suburb is home to a yearly spring carnival-like party that has become highly anticipated over the years. It brings several to the affluent area to see a mixture of fun-fare rides, market stools, and games.

The classy neighbourhood is most definitively one of Toronto’s most exclusive suburbs with a mixture of older and more modern houses, containing some of the most breath-taking homes and beautiful parks in Canada. According to Slaven’s real estate agents in Toronto (slavensrealestate.com), the average price of a home here is $1, 345, 795, so it is no surprise that some of the wealthiest people in Toronto live here.

The suburbs have a conventional look and the area is full with streetscapes that provide the visitor with a strong essence of what the neighbourhood is like. For example, some areas are known for being more green and full of nature than others and some are more distinctly recognised because of the large houses.

The neighbourhood was amalgamated in 1985 and was originally positioned to attract the upscale markets. Great news for any families thinking about moving into this particular reason is that forest hill is known for having some of the best schools in downtown Toronto. The private schools – Bishop Strachan School for girls and Canada College for boys have become very well respected over the years.

Being one of Toronto’s more prestigious areas, forest hill is full of mansions and beautiful dethatched homes that normally sell for about $1,129,000. It is a pretty district for someone who wants the serenity and beauty of a charming suburb along with several parks, hills and windy roads all adding to its character.
